A game of darts typically starts from 501 or 301 points and must be reduced to exactly zero. Each player throws three darts in turn. Hitting the outer ring (double ring) of the board doubles the points, and hitting the inner ring (triple ring) triples them.
Hitting the bullseye at the center scores 50 points. To finish the game, you must reach exactly zero by hitting a double or the bullseye — this is known as a "checkout". At tk17 you can place various types of bets based on these rules.
Professional darts is generally played in a best-of-sets format, where each set contains several legs. The number of sets varies depending on the tournament.
